What do students and teachers say about Montessori Englewood Charter?

In 2013, students and teachers in Chicago Public Schools participated in the CPS My Voice, My School Survey 2013, which asked questions about their school’s culture and climate. The Montessori School of Englewood Charter’s performance on the 5Essentials (fig. 1) summarizes the participants’ answers to those survey questions as they relate to the 5Essentials.

Montessori Englewood Charter has low response

The 5Essentials can identify the ways in which a school is organized for school improvement. In fact, over two decades of research on Chicago Public Schools has shown that schools strong on three or more of these essentials were 10 times more likely to improve student learning than schools weak in three or more.
